Who exactly is Ed Craven? Here at BitcoinCasinos.com, we take a closer look at the billionaire businessman and co-founder of Kick and Stake.com.
Ed Craven Stake.Com
Melbourne-born Ed Craven is one of Australia’s youngest billionaires. The crypto kingpin is the co-founder of Stake.com, alongside business partner Bijan Tehrani.
Back in 2013, Craven took on a sole venture to establish Primedice, a cryptocurrency-based online dice game. Three years later, he teamed up with Tehrani to form Easygo, a firm which developed and specialized in games for online casinos.
In 2017, the like-minded duo helped create Stake.com. The Australian-Curaçaoan online casino has since gone on to enjoy huge success all over the globe.
Stake.com has offices in Serbia, Australia, Cyprus and staff globally. The company is operated by Medium Rare NV and licensed in Curaçao.

Stake.com has also partnered with TGP Europe and backed Formula 1 team Alfa Romeo. Craven is the proud owner of of the Sauber F1 team – aptly named ‘Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber’ in 2024.
For the last two years, Canadian rapper and global superstar Drake has collaborated with Stake.com as their ambassador. He and Craven have live streamed together.
Drake places his biggest bets with Stake.com and helps promote awareness of the company. Often via his social media platforms. Many refer to it as ‘The Drake Effect.’
Kick Co-Founder
Established as a rival for Amazon’s Twitch, Kick was created in 2022 by Ed Craven and his partner Bijan Tehrani. The USP of Kick – that separates it from Twitch – is the 95-5% split of revenues to content creators.
Tehrani holds a 66% stake in Kick with Craven – under Ashwood Holdings – holds the other third. Similar to Stake.com, Kick has sponsorship deals with Alfa Romeo and Everton.
In terms of streaming deals, Trainwreckstv, Adin Ross, BruceDropEmOff and xQc have all signed on with Kick. The latter’s is reported to be the biggest streaming sponsorship in history.
In January of this year, Kick joined Stake in becoming the title sponsor of Formula 1 team Sauber. Over the course of the foreseeable future, expect to see a lot more of Kick’s branding in the sports industry.
The @KickStreaming creator incentive program is now live. Applications are open & requirements public.
