Stake.com and UFC star Alex Pereira have agreed a multi-year deal for the Brazilian to become the crypto firm’s new global ambassador.
The current Light Heavyweight Champion and a former Middleweight Champion is one of the biggest names in the sport currently. His partnership with Stake.com will only serve to boost their profile further.
Pereira will join the likes of Jailton Almeida, Alexandre Pantoja, Alexa Grasso, Amanda Ribas, and Israel Adesanya as part of Stake.com’s growing ambassadorial line-up.
The acquisition of Pereira is hugely impressive for the crypto-focused sports betting platform. As of February, the 36-year-old ranks at #4 in the UFC men’s pound-for-pound rankings.
Nicknamed ‘The Hands of Stone,’ Pereira is one of only nine fighters in UFC history to become champion in two different weight divisions.
More impressively, Pereira is the only fighter to be a two-division world champion in MMA and kickboxing. Stake.com has pulled off a masterstroke by signing him.

Alex Pereira shared his joy about joining Stake.com: “I’ve watched on with interest as they have become more involved with the UFC, especially Israel Adesanya.
“As I’ve mentioned, I would be open to training with Adesanya. I look forward to hopefully crossing paths at some point again in the future.”
Stake.com’s Chief Marketing Officer Akhil Sarin was also delighted with the coup: “We are delighted to have signed someone with the calibre and prestige of Alex Pereira to Stake.com. We are looking forward to building a successful partnership together,” he added.
Pereira is only the third fighter to be inducted into the Glory Hall of Fame. His overall success in UFC is one of the finest stories the sport has ever seen.
In April, Pereira is back in the Octagon as he takes on Jamahal Hill at UFC 300. Pereira has a younger sister, Aline Pereira, who competes for Glory and made her MMA debut in November 2022.
