Coin Royale looks to be a decent casino, but I wouldn\u2019t rate them higher than a 6.5\/10.<\/p>\n<p>Why\u2019s that?<\/p>\n<p>For starters they only have 5 games \u2013 on basic, plain, proprietary software. Most other btc casinos have way more games, so it\u2019s extremely difficult to rank Coin Royale higher than them.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s not to say they\u2019re not worth checking out;\u00a0<strong>they have some things going for them<\/strong>. It\u2019s just that,\u00a0<em>for now<\/em>, you need to adjust your expectations accordingly. That\u2019s definitely great for players on a budget.<\/p>\n<p>And according to an email from Coin Royale support, they do have a slot game in the works. But all that does is round out their\u00a0<em>\u2018large\u2019<\/em>\u00a0selection of games.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve also seen it mentioned that they have more games in the works. But that\u2019s been the case for at least the last 9 months. So there\u2019s no telling when they\u2019ll actually get to it.<\/p>\n<p><em>(By now it\u2019s probably easy to see that I\u2019m disappointed and skeptical.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>On a brighter note their games are provably fair, which you can add your own seed to and verify after the hand\/round is done.<\/p>\n<p>And every once in awhile they\u2019ll run some tourney promo. For example, back in November 2013 they hosted a Baccarat tournament. The person that ended with the highest cumulative winnings ended up winning 1 BTC.<\/p>\n<p>So things aren\u2019t all that bad. And the fact that 1 million hands\/games have been played (as of September 2013) tell you that players like it here.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"WHAT_ABOUT_THEIR_SOFTWARE\">WHAT ABOUT THEIR SOFTWARE?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Like most bitcoin casinos Coin Royale uses HTML5 software. This is ideal because you don\u2019t have to download any software to play. Now you can play from your browser \u2013 I recommend Google Chrome.<\/p>\n<p>That said, when I tested the software I found it to be painfully slow. It works, but it\u2019s not nearly as fluid as other bitcoin casino\u2019s. In fact, I think you\u2019ll find better looking and functioning apps on your phone.<\/p>\n<p>And you can play on your mobile device. I tested it out on both my iPhone and iPad. But, while the games are functional, it doesn\u2019t look like they\u2019re mobile optimized. Nothing fits the screen right.<\/p>\n<p>But at least it\u2019s doable \u2013 not every bitcoin casino can say that.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"SUMMARY\">SUMMARY<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>My rating above stands; I give them a 6.5\/10 or a C+. They have a few things holding them back right now namely\u00a0slow software, a small number\u00a0of games and a lack of\u00a0promotions. Because of this, there\u2019s no competition between them and outfits like\u00a0<a href=\"\/reviews\/betchain\/\">BetChain<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0Bitcasino.io. However, they plan to release more games and add some unique promotions, so fingers crossed and they won\u2019t be behind the pack for too long.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, they have a\u00a0low min. deposit threshold, instant deposits\/withdrawals and semi-mobilized games.\u00a0All these things compliment the boutique-type feel this casino has.
