With a Far Eastern theme, 5 Dragons is a land based and online slot machine launched in August 2011 by slots developer Aristocrat. The game is themed around dragons which are mythical flying creatures that breathe fire. Even though I haven’t seen a dragon and I don’t believe that they exist, the stories about them fascinate me a lot. Therefore, I decided to give the Aristocrat’s version of the powerful dragon a try. As a Reel Power slot game, the video slot has 5 reels and 243 Ways to Win. It also comes with special symbols, a free spins bonus round and win multipliers. However, in my opinion, the quality of the graphics of the game is good but not as great as some other slots which are created in 3D technology and have graphics that hump from the screen. Nevertheless, the game has a colorful design, engaging theme and a generous winning potential.

Breathe Fire with the Dragons
As I have already mentioned, 5 Dragons is themed around these mythical creatures which are praised a lot in many Asian cultures. The spinning reels of the slot are set against a shade of deep purple adding to the mysterious feel. Also, whenever a winning combination is hit, I get the feeling that dragon eggs are breaking open. The symbols are also animated nicely. For example, each time you hit the right combination of symbols with the Dragon icon, it bursts into flames.
Dragons, Koi and Tigers
Besides different types of dragons, obviously, some other slot symbols include koi, tigers, coins, red envelopes and turtles. The standard playing card symbols are also present, namely the Ace, King, Queen, Jack, Ten and Nine. Not only does it go deep into the Asian mythology, but the sound effects also perfectly fit into the whole scenario.
Choose Your Free Spins and Win Multiplier
A special feature of 5 Dragons slot is the free spins bonus round where you can choose the number of free games and win multiplier. However, there is a trick- the more free spins you choose, the lower the multiplier. You can get between 10 and 25 free spins. The value of the multiplier ranges between 2x and 30x. Of all the slots created by Aristocrat, 5 Dragons is not the first one I have played. However, the game has its moments. For my taste, the dragon theme is very interesting and the entire slot is pretty engaging. I very much liked the animations of the symbols and the special features can be quite generous if Lady Luck is on your side. The slot gives you big opportunity to win huge rewards and it’s very easy to understand and play. All in all, 5 Dragons is good for novices and regular bitcoin slot players alike and it comes highly recommended.
